The Houston High School COLORFEST is our annual Indoor Percussion and Color Guard Contest.  All indoor groups, including winds, drumline, percussion ensemble, and color guard units, are invited to participate in a friendly and fun day of performance and competition.

Qualified and experienced adjudicators will judge this indoor competition. Classifications for entry will follow Winter Guard International guidelines (explained below). This contest is intended to promote indoor activities in the hope that groups of all experience levels will benefit from positive critique. 

 

Each performing group may determine the level at which they wish to compete.  These classifications are as follows:

WGI Winds:

• High School

• Independent

 

 Percussion: 

• Elementary School

• Middle School

• Standstill (Concert - High School)

• High School - Novice

• High School - Advanced

• Independent

 

Color Guard:

• Elementary School

• Middle School

• High School - Novice

• High School - Advanced

• Independent

The deadline for registration is February 12, 2022. The entry fee of $50.00 per group may be mailed to:
