An informational meeting for incoming students and their parents will be held on April 15, 2008 at 7:00pm in the band room. At that meeting, complete information concerning the band program, expectations for participation, summer band camp, and the fee schedule will be distributed to parents.
Our pre-camp picnic (our first meeting with horn line, drum line and guard all together) will be held in the band room on Sunday, July 27 at 5:00 pm. Band members and their families are invited. Hot dogs and drinks will be provided by the band boosters. Summer band camp is July 28 through August 2th.
The band fee for the 2008-2009 Marching Program is $550.00, payable
in three monthly installments.

Payments may be made directly to the school. Please make your checks payable to The

This fee covers the entire marching season and pays for additional staff
for band camp instruction, band camp lunches (your student will be fed a
well-balanced lunch all six days of band camp), uniform up-keep and
periodic cleanings, transportation to all the competitions, marching
season tee-shirt, music, administrative expenses, and more. The
fee covers about half of the actual cost to run this large and
industrious program. The Band Boosters make up the rest with your
help, by fundraising.
You can earn funds for your student to off-set band fees by purchasing gift cards for most of your shopping needs. Some cards (such as the Kroger and Schnucks cards) are re-loadable. This program will be discussed at the informational meeting. It is a convenient way to earn money for your student's account and to help the band.
