In April, the band traveled to San
Antonio, Texas, to participate in the Fiesta Flambeau Parade, America's
largest illuminated night parade. The
band was named Out-of-State Champion in this regionally televised event
seen by an estimated 1.5 million viewers.
The Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band also competed in the Fiesta Classic
and received all superior ratings. The Wind Ensemble garnered
the trophy for 2nd Overall Champion in the contest.
